30 Ideas for Self Care: 

Self care comes in many shapes and sizes. It ranges from; physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, financial, health, and social. In order to better ourselves, we should understand each type and know how to help ourselves. This post will cover physical, emotional, and mental activities for self care! 

Physical: 
    ~ Go outside/ be in the sunlight
    ~ Have a dance party to your favourite songs
    ~ Be around animals/pets

    ~ Take an Epsom salt bath or a shower
    ~ Reorganize your room for a clean space
    ~ Try yoga or stretching 
    ~ Eat a healthy meal

    ~ Take a much-needed nap
    ~ Rehydrate 
    ~ Treat yourself with a face mask, manicure, etc. 

Emotional: 
    ~ Take a 15 minute break from what you're doing
    ~ Light a candle and appreciate the scent

    ~ Find a quiet place and consider meditation
    ~ Put on comfortable, warm clothes

    ~ Spend time with loved ones
    ~ Try to find laughter 
    ~ Mindfully enjoy a cup of herbal tea

    ~ Watch a good movie 
    ~ Spend time on your hobby 
    ~ Breathe deeply

Mental: 
    ~Read a good, relaxing book

    ~ Draw or colour
    ~ Try something new ex: a food, hobby, book
    ~ Turn off your phone and devices
    ~ Stay off of social media, go on a cleanse for a few days
    ~ Listen to your favourite music or a relaxing playlist

    ~ Set goals and positive affirmations
    ~ Journal your thoughts
    ~ Write a list of what you're grateful for 
    ~ Listen to a podcast

What Is Grounding?  Grounding, also known as earthing, is a technique that allows a person to better reconnect with the earth using electrical charges. It's said to improve your mood, decrease inflammation, chronic pain, and more.
