My Healthy Oatmeal Recipe:
This recipe is packed with great sources of protein and nutrients perfect for the morning. It's very customizable and leaves you feeling full for a large portion of your day.
Ingredients:
~ Instant oatmeal (regular)
~ Almond milk
~ Vanilla greek yogurt
~ Protein granola
~ Almonds
~ Berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries)
Directions:
~ Boil 2/3 cup of water and pour over oatmeal. Leave to soak for about 3 mins, then pour a small amount of almond milk (about 2 tbsp.) in to create a creamy texture.
~ Place any toppings you would like on top; the berries, yogurt, almonds, granola, etc.
~Other recommended toppings: peanut butter, chia seeds, flax seeds.
