It can be difficult to find healthy snacks that you enjoy more than unhealthy options. Try out these 25 delicious snack ideas: 

    1. Apple slice nachos

Try putting some peanut butter, nuts, or even some caramel on apple slices for a healthier snack. 

    2. Dried cranberries and almond slices
Dried cranberries are a sweet alternative and taste great mixed with almond slices.

    3. Cheese
Try eating pieces of low-fat cheese for a healthier snack. 

    4. Hummus
Eat hummus with some raw cut vegetables, such as carrots or cucumbers. 

    5. Frozen fruits
Freeze grapes for a sweet, cooling treat in the summer. 

    6. Popcorn or chips alternatives (apple chips)

Try buying healthier rice cakes and topping them with almond butter, peanut butter, fruits, etc.

Hard boil some eggs and eat as you wish. For example, you could make deviled eggs.

Make mini versions of your favourite sandwich or wrap. For example, make a turkey wrap and cut it into smaller slices. 

    13. Protein balls
Make your own protein balls for a good chocolate healthy treat. For mine, I like to use; oats, peanut butter, chocolate protein powder, dark chocolate, honey, and more. The recipe will be posted soon :) 

    14. Dried mango slices
Buy already dried mango slices or prepare your own in a dehydrator. Dried mangos are great for a sweet treat craving. 

    15. Clean applesauce 
Make your own applesauce or choose a healthier choice. Last year, my mom made homemade applesauce with our apple tree. It tasted so much fresher and brighter. 

    16. Watermelon sticks

If you love watermelon like me, cut it into cubes for a snack. It can also be served with Greek yogurt or cream cheese dip.

Use lettuce leaves as a wrap for tuna. You may need to make a few of these because they're rather small.

    19. Plantain chips with salsa
If you're looking to eat chips and salsa, try out plantain chips for a substitute. They contain less salt and harmful ingredients. 

    20. Sweet potato fries
Make a batch of sweet potato fries for a healthier craving alternative.

Banana chips make a great snack because they're sweet and flavourful. You can also make your own banana chips with a dehydrator.

A smoothie is a great snack option because it can be personalized to you. You can make fruit smoothies, chocolate protein smoothies, etc.

I really enjoy the trail mix combination of nuts (almonds, cashews), dried cranberries, and dark chocolate. It covers sweet and salty together.

It's said to improve your mood, decrease inflammation, chronic pain, and more.
