A cold shower sends impulses to the brain that create clarity, alertness, and provide energy. Even if you take a warm shower, turn the water cold for about 30 seconds just before you hop out. Endorphins will be sent to the brain which leads to feelings of optimism. Consider exercising before your cold shower, to make it less intense.
